Draynes Opens New Bottling Plant

Draynes Farms recently opened their doors to celebrate the official launch of its new bottling facility in Lisburn. The company’s investment in state of the art production technology is designed to enhance its competitive position and enable it to respond rapidly to changing consumer needs.

The official launch of the 750 square metre bottling plant took place on Saturday 11th September 2010 and was attended by many of the business partners, friends and family who have supported the dairy for many years.

They were joined by Alderman Paul Porter, the Mayor of Lisburn and many other dignitaries.

Speaking about the new state of the art facility, Michael Drayne said: “It is a great addition to the farm and will allow us to expand and grow our business through greater efficiency and increased production capacity.”

New Additions to the Family

The herd at Draynes farms isn’t as large as other dairy farms across Northern Ireland but with good reason! Each and every cow is a member of the Draynes farms family and is treated as such.
This month, we welcome two of our latest additions to the Draynes Family, Dorothy and Timmy. Both children and mother are doing well!

Draynes Heroic Milk Float takes on Jeremy Clarkson

Draynes Farms were invited to the Top Gear filming in Belfast to take part in a little sketch they were performing. As avid watchers of the show, you can be sure we jumped at the chance. In fact there was a considerable argument as to who was going to drive the milk float. Unfortunately for our eager milkmen their highly trained stunt driver got the position!!

We’ll stop milking it now, only one year on.
